Select-A-Rate

For 2-day plus rentals at commencement, or on return you may choose a 350 km or 450 km per day rate if it is cheaper than the 250 km per day rate where extra kilometres have been incurred. The 350 km rate is $10 per day extra, the 450 km per day rate is $20 per day extra (for Kia Carnival & Toyota Tarago the 350 km rate is $20 per day extra, the 450 km per day rate is $40 per day extra).

Inclusions and extra options

Insurance - All our hire cars are insured. The hirer is given the benefit of this coverage subject to the conditions of hire. There is a standard collision damage liability of $2750 with the above rates in a accident with another vehicle. This may be reduced to $550 by paying an extra $18.70 per day. This collision damage waiver is optional.There is no cover unless our hire car is driven on sealed maintained roads (No designated remote areas). Hirers are reminded that any single vehicle damage including overhead, underbody, interior, windscreen, tyre or mechanical, howsoever caused is always at the hirers risk.

Additional driver - One additional driver is protected if nominated $5 per day. A maximum of 2 drivers allowed per contract.

Child restraints - Booster seats, baby seats or capsules are available for $5 per day or a maximum of $30 per rental, each.

Rental duration - Rental day period is 24 hours, extra hours are 1/5 daily rate until daily rate is reached. Additional options charge at daily rate after 24 hours. There are no refunds for early returns. Any change of plans including requests to extend must be notified to our office.

One way rental - One way rentals are available for a fee of $100 to the Brisbane airport only. Re-locations to other places including Sydney and Melbourne are available, prices on request.

Fuel - Your hire car will be supplied with fuel. We ask you to return vehicle with same level of fuel as indicated at time of hire, otherwise a penalty charge for refueling will be made.

Breakdown - All our hire cars are covered by RACQ 24-hour roadside assistance. Note: keys locked in cars and flat batteries caused by hirer error will be at the hirer's expense.

Satellite Navigation - A GPS can be placed in the car for $7.50 per day - minimum charge $15. Equipment is not covered by insurance and there will be a $700 charge for loss or damage.

Street directory - A current copy of the Gold Coast street directory is in the glove box of all our hire cars.

Requirements

Driver's licences - All full current Australian and overseas or international licences are accepted. Drivers are to be a minimum age of 25 years old, having had at least 2 years licensed driving experience.

Payment - At time of rental please have your current licence and credit card with you. We require the cost of rental plus a $550 security bond. The hirer's credit card must authorise for this amount. The bond is held as security through the rental period and returned in full if no further charges apply. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Traveller's cheques for rental payment only.
